In 2005 Lebanon, political assassinations and bombings became routine. As politician Fadi Andour gains more power, he also attracts deadly enemies. Eight years later, his daughter Raya, now a screenwriter in Los Angeles, is pulled back to Beirut by a call from her estranged lover. Forced to face her ailing father, buried secrets, and a shattering family tragedy, Raya learns that although leaving home was hard, returning is even harder.
